The service
StickerByVIN lets you look up vehicle information by VIN. That means original window stickers where a manufacturer or licensed partner provides them, build data, paint codes, trim, and recall information from NHTSA. The basic lookup is free. Optional paid reports are described on the page before you buy.
Accuracy
We show data as we receive it from the manufacturer, NHTSA and our licensed partners, and we label where each piece of data came from. We can’t guarantee that third-party data is complete or error-free. A window sticker shows how a vehicle was built and priced when it was new. It doesn’t show later modifications, damage or repairs. Always inspect a vehicle and check its history before you buy it. Nothing on this site replaces an independent inspection.
Paid reports
- Prices are shown before checkout and charged once. There are no subscriptions.
- Before checkout we show which data is available for your VIN. If a paid report can’t deliver what we showed you, we refund it. See the refund policy.
- Report links are permanent and private to whoever has the link. Anyone you share a link with can see that report.
- The only paid product today is the Full Report for one VIN. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, who may add sales tax or VAT where the law requires it.
Acceptable use
Don’t use automated tools to scrape the site, get around the rate limits or the bot check, resell our data, or look up VINs to harass or identify people. We may block access that looks like abuse.
Trademarks
StickerByVIN is not affiliated with or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer. Brand names, model names and logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify vehicles.
Liability
The site is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a paid report is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits consumer-protection rights that can’t be waived.
